Après Bordeaux, Saint Girons, Dublin et Champigny, voici Crazy Grumpy à Lille!
As I said to some of you, I am taking some new English lessons in a new school for 2 weeks. I have 4 hours per week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 8pm to 10pm.
I am in an intermediate level, in a class in which we are 9 girls at the moment: 6 from Germany, 2 from Spain, and just me from France!!!! Our teacher (Veronica) is from Austria, and she arrived in Ireland 9 years ago. She is very funny!!!! It is the first time I really enjoy going to an English lesson!!
Every day, before going to my lesson, I am not very happy to go there, for different reasons:
- I am tired.
- It's late.
- I am not in a good mood.
- I have to walk 10 min until the Dart (=the train) station, to take the Dart, and to walk 10min after the station to go there.
- It is always raining, especially when I have my blue shoes (my feet are always wet with these shoes...).
But when I am in my class, it's so funny that I forget all of these reasons. We are working in differents ways (grammar, reading, listenning...), but at the same time we are speaking a lot about different subjects, and usually it is funny (and not really linked to the first subject in general...)
I have to focus on the English language, because it is a the best place to heard some different accents, and to speak with other people while Veronica corrects our mistakes. So, I think it will be good for me in a few months... I have decided to take an exam (in June), in order to have a target for my studies here, and we have a lot of homeworks to do every week (but it is the only way to work regularly... That's why I need my grammar book, which may be in my father's house at the moment, waiting to be send!)
Especially for my oldest brother, to translate my few words, "tu peux te brosser Martine!" (sorry, I don't know if there is an expression here to say the same thing...). You have to read in English, and if you want you can write your comments in English too!!!! It can be funny!!!!! I am sure that there are a lot of mistakes in mine (I am not sure that my English is improving since I am here...), so you can make mistakes!!!!!!
See you!!!!!!
