Après Bordeaux, Saint Girons, Dublin et Champigny, voici Crazy Grumpy à Lille!
We booked a "Celtic Tour" with Chloe, Caroline and Francesca for the whole day on Sunday (from 9.30am to 5.00pm). The beginning of the day was difficult for me: my train to go to the city centre (the first train on Sunday is at 9.03am) was 20min late... So I had to run from the dart station to the departure point, I was 5-10min late, but it was not really a problem...
So, we were with 10 other people, and a very funny guide (sometimes, it was difficult to understand his accent...), to visit different places.
Sarinou wants to have more details, so I write more details about the tour...
Fourknocks : A Celtic grave. We went inside to see different big stones with drawing.

Mellifont Abbey: Ruins of an old Abbey. We visited with another guide who never stopped talking!

Monasterboice: An old cementary with a lot of celtic crosses.

Hill of Slane: An old Abbey and a cementary. We climbed up to the ruined Abbey (a bit dangerous with big holes...).

Hill of Tara: Differents Celtic graves underground. Nowadays, we can see some hills, but not going inside.

I am sure that some of you will be delighted to write comments about the last picture!...
The weather was good all the day, it rained just for our picnic!!!!!
It was a really nice day, very interesting, and I enjoyed this day with Chloe, Caroline and Francesca!!
Next excursion: Belfast!
Prochaine excursion: Belfast!
