Extraordinay tour in Northern Ireland!

On Monday we booked a tour: Giant's causeway, Derry, and different other places (I don't remember the names...).

Thanks to the woman at the tourist office, we arrived at 8.00am instead of 08.30am (!). So we waited a long time, especially because the guide was late!

After driving for a while, we arrived in a place that I forgot the name(sorry...): a bridge 18 metres hight that you can cross (we didn't). We walked on the way to the bridge on the hill: really nice.

Second stop: Giant's Causeway with the sun. I found it incredible! I let you see the pictures...

Third stop: an old castle, just a picture stop.

Last stop: Derry. We did a walking tour with a guide (and the sun this time!) talking about "Bloody Sunday" and all the events between catholics and protestants in this city a few years ago. A really interesting story, but a bit too long for me...

We came back to Dublin around 08.30pm (we were the last to be allowed to go on the bus...), and I took the bus to go home. I was exhausted, and I usual, nothing to eat for me...

So, it was a nice week end in Belfast (excepted from the rain, and the fact that I spoke French the whole week end, not really good for my exam next week...)

Lundi, nous avions reserve une excursions pour voir la Chaussee des Geants, Derry, et d'autres endroits dont j'ai oublie le nom.

Grace a la nana de l'office du tourisme, nous sommes arriveesa a 8h au lieu de 8h30. Nous avons donc attendu un moment, surtout que le guide etait en retard!

Apres un bout de route, nous arrivons dans un endroit dont j'ai oublie le nom (desolee...): un pont de 18m au dessus de l'eau, que nous pouvions traverser, mais nous ne l'avons pas fait. Nous nous sommes balldees: tres sympa.

Deuxieme arret: La Chaussee des Geants: incroyable.! Je vous laisse apprecier les photos...

Troisieme arret: arret photo pour un ancien chateau.

Dernier arret: Derry. Nous avons fait un tour un pieds avec un guide (et le soleil cette fois!) nous expliquant les evenements qui se sont produits dans cette ville (Bloody Sunday...) entre les catholiques et les protestants il y a quelques annees. Tres interessant, mais un peu long pour moi...

Retour a Dublin vers 20h30 (les dernieres a pouvoir entrer dans le bus...), ou j'ai pris le bus pour rentrer. J'etais crevee, et comme d'hab, rien a manger pour moi...

En resume: un bon week end a Belfast (excepte la pluie et le fait de n'avoir parle que francais, pas terrible pour mon exam la semaine prochaine...).
